Assignment:6 I Dream A World

Imagine a world filled with only peace and love. The word RACISM not even existing. Well the poem “I Dream A World”, means to me. Have you ever seen a black cow fight a white cow till death just because they are different colors. We as human beings were brought into this world so we can work toghether and discovering new things to the wildest of our imaginations.

What went wrong, did human beings gain too muck knowledge to where they are hurting themselves instead of helping? Well if this tragedy continues that is something that we are going to have to find out the hard way. Many generations have gone but we still haven’t learned the knowledge that fighting in your own species is stupid. Time is a factor that will never wait so we can catch up so we need to use this time and try to change as much as we can. I know that one person can’t change the whole world but by changing them self into a better person is a good start.

The line “ Where greed no longer saps the soul, Nor avarice blights our day. " That is my Favorite line from the poem. To me this means that there is alot of selfish and greedy people an that needs to change. I sometimes wonder what if everybody shared and all men were actulluy created equaly. Most people these days don't even understand the word share, family and love. Haterd between brothers has filled the word and has made it a nightmare for everybody living in what we know as planet earth. Well I really do hope that this is a dream and that I can wake up from it. Only a nightmare like this can be so horrible.

As the sun comes up it brings another beautiful day with new adventures laying ahead of us. Imagine if that discovery was real love among the souls. Imagine if a white man held hands with a black man and walked the earth. Well wouldn't that be amazing.

BOOK REPORT: THE OUTSIDERS

This great story of "The Outsiders" written by S.E. Hinton is about Ponyboy Curtis and his brothers, Sodapop and Darry, belong to a group of poor teenage boys called greasers. They often fight with the Socs, the group of wealthy, privileged boys who beat them up for fun. Ponyboy is shy and quiet. He gets good grades and likes to draw and read. His oldest brother Darry takes care of the family since their parents died in a car crash. He is very serious, works most of the time, and is very hard on Ponyboy. He often yells at him to do better in school. Soda, the middle brother, is happy most of the time, and is very handsome and likable.

There are a few other members of their gang, including Dally and Johnny. Dally is one of the oldest, and certainly the toughest. He seems to enjoy being a criminal. He thinks the law is a joke. His parents abuse him, so he always seems scared. He is the pet of the group. Recently, Johnny was beat up very badly by a Soc wearing heavy rings. One night, Dally, Johnny and Pony meet two beautiful Soc girls, Cherry and Marcia. The four of them have a good conversation. On the way home, the girls' boyfriends catch them all together. It turns out that Cherry's boyfriend is Bob, the same boy who beat Johnny up. Later that night, Ponyboy comes in late and gets into such a fight with Darry that he runs to the park with Johnny just to get away from the house. Bob and his friends find Pony and Johnny there, and nearly drown Pony in a fountain. Terrified and angry, Johnny stabs Bob to deathThe two boys run to find Dally, knowing he will know what to do. He gives them money and tells them to hide in a church a short distance out of town. They stay there for a few days, reading to each other and talking about poetry and sunsets. When Dallas comes to find them, they tell him they want to turn themselves in. Before they can, however, the church catches fire and several small children are trapped inside.
Without thinking, the boys rescue them, and a large piece of burning wood falls on Johnny and breaks his back. Pony spends a short time in the hospital, then gets to go home. That evening there is a big fight between the greasers and the Socs, which the greasers win. Cherry, meanwhile, has become a spy for the greasers, which pleases Ponyboy but also angers him: he doesn't want charity. After the rumble, Dally and Ponyboy go to see Johnny, who dies, telling Pony never to lose his spirit. Dally is overwhelmed, and runs out of the hospital. Soon after, back at home, Darry and the others get a phone call from Dally. He has robbed a liquor store. The boys run out to find him and hide him, but the police are chasing him. He pulls out a gun. Pony boy knows it isn't loaded, but he knows that Dally knows the police think it is. The police shoot Dally, . Pony faints and stays sick for nearly a week. Ponyboy is so upset by Johnny's death that for weeks he pretends to himself and everyone else that he himself killed Bob, and that Johnny is still alive. After the trial, however, when the judge decides that Ponyboy did nothing wrong, Pony begins to admit to himself that Dally and Johnny are both dead. He decides to write about himself for a class assignment, so he can let other people know what life for a greaser is like. He is sure that there are many boys across the country just like him. He also recognizes, finally, that Darry loves him. He sees that Darry was just being overprotective when he yelled at him. He feels that, for the first time, he and his two brothers form a family.
I really liked this book. This book proves that a life a gangster is not what people think it is. It requires you to sacrifice a lot of things like family, love, and education. All gangs cause trouble. I hope the next book I read is as good as this one.

Assignment: 4&5 Islamic Mosque in New York

What is religion? To many people religion is fate to god, but there are some people that don’t believe in god, this is known as atheism. Religion is, “a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.”In most of the countries they don’t have freedom of religion, but America was built on that. In the U.S constitution the first amendment in the bill of rights it guarantees to all freedom of speech, Press, Assembly, and most important RELIGION.

I come from a family whose origins start in Parwan, Kabul which is located in the capital of Afghanistan. Everybody including my family believes in Islam which believes in one god. To be a Muslim you have to fallow the five pillars of being a Muslim which is The Profession of Faith, The Five Daily Prayers, Almsgiving, Fasting, and Pilgrimage to Mecca.

The Profession of Faith is the absolute focus of Islamic piety is Allah, the supreme, all knowing, all-powerful, and above all, all-merciful God. The Arabic word Allah means "the God and this God is understood to be the God who brought the world into being and sustains it to its end. By obeying God's commands, human beings express their recognition of and gratitude for the wisdom of creation, and live in harmony with the universe. We pray "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his prophet."

The Five Daily Prayers is the second pillar of Islam which is the religious duty to perform five prescribed daily prayers or salat. All adult Muslims are supposed to perform five prayers, preceded by ritual cleansing or purification of the body at different intervals of the day. The Qur'anic references also mention the acts of standing, bowing, and prostrating during prayers and facing a set direction, known as qibla. The Muslims were first required to face Jerusalem during prayer, but already during Muhammad's lifetime they were commanded to face the Kaaba, an ancient shrine in the city of Mecca. The Qur'an also refers to the recitation of parts of the Qur'an as a form of prayer. However, even with its numerous references, the Qur'an alone does not give exact instructions for this central ritual of prayer. They pray at certain times of day: dawn (fajr or subh), noon (zuhr), midafternoon (asr), sunset (maghrib), and evening (isha).

The third pillar of Islam is zakat, or almsgiving. A religious obligation, zakat is considered an expression of devotion to God. It represents the attempt to provide for the poorer sectors of society, and it offers a means for a Muslim to purify his or her wealth and attain salvation. The Qur'an, together with other Islamic traditions, strongly encourages charity and constantly reminds Muslims of their moral obligation to the poor, orphans, and widows; however, it distinguishes between general, voluntary charity (sadaqa) and zakat, the latter being an obligatory charge on the money or produce of Muslims. While the meaning of terms has been open to different interpretations, the These specific uses include spending zakat on the poor and the needy, on those who collect and distribute zakat, on those whom Muslims hope to win over and convert to Islam, on travelers, on the ransom of captives, to relieve those who are burdened with debts, and on the cause of God.

The fourth pillar of Islam is sawm, or fasting. Clear Qur'anic references to fasting account for the early introduction of this ritual practice. The Qur'an prescribes fasting during the month of Ramadan, the 9th month of the 12-month Islamic lunar year. The month of Ramadan is sacred because the first revelation of the Qur'an is said to have occurred during this month. By tradition the month starts with the sighting of the new moon by at least two Muslims. For the entire month, Muslims must fast from daybreak to sunset by refraining from eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse. Menstruating women, travelers, and sick people are exempted from fasting but have to make up the days they miss at a later date.

The fifth pillar requires that Muslims who have the physical and financial ability should perform the pilgrimage, or hajj, to Mecca at least once in a lifetime. The ritual of pilgrimage was practiced by Arabs before the rise of Islam and continues from the early days of Islam. The hajj is distinct from other pilgrimages. It must take place during the 12th lunar month of the year, known as Dhu al-Hijja, and it involves a set and detailed sequence of rituals that are practiced over the span of several days. All of the pilgrimage rituals take place in the city of Mecca and its surroundings, and the primary focus of these rituals is a cubical structure called the Kaaba

I hope that has helped you understand Islam better. So the terrorist ran planes into the world trade center and nine years from then the Islamic community wants to build Musk. The Americans are getting angry and making a big deal about it. They took it to as far as some guy saying that he will blow it up. And now there is Reverand Terry Jones who wants to burn Qurans on 9/11 to who knows what he is trying to prove.

After a lot of argument the leader of a small U.S. Christian church says he has called off his plan to burn copies of the Quran on Saturday. The Reverand Terry Jones said Thursday he called off his protest because he had reached an agreement with Muslim leaders to move the controversial location of a planned Islamic cultural center and mosque in New York. He said the mosque would be moved away from the site of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.

I just don’t think that everything that is going on is right but racism I guess will always be there. I wonder when the world is going to actually change even though United States thinks that they are not.

I want this coin to travel from generation to generations, from my kids to their until the last day of earth to keep my grandpa's memories alive.

My Sophomore Year (Final Exam)

Another school year has gone by, but this one for some reason is very different and amazing. There are times when people enjoy going to school and this was one of those years. People say that your high school years are some of the best years of your lives and I am starting to believe in that. I want to do and achieve as much as I can, so when I look back there are no regrets. There is a famous quote “What we want is to see the child in pursuit of knowledge, and not knowledge in pursuit of the child.” By George is how I feel after this school year. Knowledge would be after me, but now I am after knowledge.

Another year of school had started and I was very enthusiastic to go and meet all my teachers. This year’s teachers were all so different and kind. Several of my teachers had thought in a different manner, but I learned from all of them. Last year when I was a freshman I could not nearly write as well as I can today. I really like the idea of blogs in my English class and computer’s class. In a way I learned how to use the internet better for sharing creative ideas. I don’t recall a teacher ever telling me good job and shaking my hand, but that happened this year. I have come a long way in reading, science, Algebra 2, Computers, Spanish, history, sociology, and especially writing. I have written more essay’s then probably my whole middle school years combined.

I have grown academically, but this year I grew physically. I can still remember when I was about four feet eleven. Then, something happened and all of a sudden I stand now five feet six. Growing physically just doesn’t mean that people get taller, but all kinds of things change like your face, start to grow hair, and get muscle. Last year I could have barley benched tens on each side, but after a year of hard work I have gotten that up to twenty fives on each side. Now I can probably hit harder for football and maybe achieve my dreams of becoming a professional Football player.

The greatest thing that I learned this is that humanity is a danger to this planet. All humanity has done for the past generations is cause damage, kill other living things, miss up the life cycles of animal, Forest fires, take over other animals soil, and recently spill thousands of gallon of oil into the ocean. Humanity is going to be this first creature that destroys themselves with their own hands. I have never in my fifteen years of living seen a dog fight another dog because of his or her color. So why do humans do that, they have so much knowledge, but they still ripe each other apart. I have also learned that everybody has a voice that one vote can make a difference.

This was a year of knowledge being a benefit. I can now love where I come from even though most people don’t respect that, but at least I know that I come from a great place. I can breathe freely knowing that I have accomplished a lot this year. I have reached my goal of having a 4.0 GPA. Now all I see ahead of me is a great life full of passion, and knowledge. Going to Penn State to play football, and become a doctor, which will make everybody that I know and love proud. I see a great future and nothing holding me back. Now I await the adventure of my next school year.

Tiger In Rain (Anything essay)

Once upon a time in the western valleys of Antarctica there lived a young beautiful princess. When she was born she kind of looked like a cute cat so they named Cathleen. She was very happy of her life and loved happy ending fairy tales. She had always dreamed that her prince charming would come riding on a horse and sweep her off her feet. She had big, green eyes. She always had her hair down and dressed like a royal Hines that she was. There was nothing wrong with her accept, whenever it rained she turned into a vicious tiger and just wanted to have at least one person for supper.

One cold snowy day she took a ride on her white horse. She rode faster than the wind as the snow touched her warm skin. Suddenly the snow was starting to turn in to rain and it was time for her to head home as fast as she can. But it was too late, on her way home she started transforming as the rain touched her body. She started growing long claws, she started to gain muscle. Her skin started to turn orange with black stripes. Cathleen’s ears grew big and she started to grow whiskers. With a big roar she jumped off the horse and ran ten times faster.

It was hunting time for her. She rushed back home, but there was nobody there all her servants had gone home. She went out of the house roaring with anger. She went all the way to the city to find somebody. By the time she got there the rain was almost about to stop. She spotted another tiger and rushed towards it. Right as she was about to bite down the rain stopped and she turned into a beautiful princess again. Something weird happened the tiger that she was about to eat had turned into a handsome prince. She was so happy, she didn’t think the guy in her dreams would meet her as a tiger, but she thought he was the handsomest prince she had ever seen.

They started to talk as they walked side by side. She asked “I thought I was the only person in the world that turned into a tiger when it rained,” he replayed “Me too, so how does this happen to you,” with a sigh of relief she said “The witch from the north put this spell on me and told me that I had to find another person with the same problem and it would all go away.” He popped his eyes out and replayed “That is exactly what happened to me, but it was the witch from the south!” They held hands as they walked the cold land of Antarctica. Feeling weird he mumbled “I forgot to ask your name,” she replied “Cathleen, what is yours,” he mumbled again “Christopher.”

She had found the guy of her dream in a form of a tiger, but now the only problem was that they had to kiss before it rained again and they lost each other. They married under a great waterfall. They kissed and lived happily ever after.

Wisdom

"The end has come at last, I wonder what awaits me in the new world."

Many people have told me that life is great, but what happens after you die is greater. I ask, so why are we brought to what we know as planet earth when there is not such a reason? Are we being tested to the best of our abilities? What happens if we don’t pass that test are there severe consequences. We might be here because of the scientific theories, but why are we the only species with the knowledge to communicate and use everything to our advantage. What if there is another life after this and we didn’t take the time to understand it.

There is a limit to everything. I ask if there is a limit to knowledge. Yes, the human species is one of the greatest, but do we have the right to make it a nightmare for everything else. There was an oil leak in the ocean which will potentially cause many sea creatures to die, but are all of the people really worrying about it. The humanity ending will be the greatest day for all living things on earth. There will be nobody to cause harm to nature or mother earth.

Time is a variable that never stops, so will when people notice all the damage they are causing, and find their inner wisdom. Everybody will die someday, I hope the last day on earth isn’t the time where your inner wisdom kicks in and you notice all the damage that you or somebody around you has caused. That last breath that you take should be a powerful one letting the world know that you were different and you didn’t follow other people’s footsteps.

So why wait and let another generation go by without change. My quote “The end has come at last, I wonder what awaits me in the new world." If we can’t change ourselves now, then what do we expect from the life after death if there is one?

If this world keeps on causing damage, then people will wait for the world to end and be happy about it because they ended the decades of terror. I want to explore death as an adventure and will always have faith of the afterlife. I don’t want to be just a subject under the dirt; I want to go to another beautiful place full of happiness, and kindness. I wonder if the theory of heaven being a place in the high skies, on the clouds is true. I wonder if whatever you imagine it just appears in front of you. If there is a god, why is he letting us turn earth and its beauty to a living hell? Somebody needs to step up and there might be a day where all humans go to heaven.

I Would be Brian Dawkins!

Imagine a whole city loving you more than anybody on the team. Being one of the greatest players of all time. Achieving to where there is no limits. That is the legendary Brian Dawkins. He has done a lot for the Philadelphia Eagles, but for the city of brother hood love that wants everything, it was just not enough. Imagine getting paid more than millions and having things that you couldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams. Well to me this guy has it all, he does what he loves and that is to play the great American sport of Football.

I want to wake up one day in a big house. Wake up to a room full of Football things. Not have to go to school or some other boring thing, but go play football. Be with a team that respects me. After a long day of practice drive my Ferrari home. I want to have the feeling of thousands of people counting on me. He also plays the best position in the national football league, which is the strong safety position.

I stood on the field listen to the roar of thousands of fans on the stands calling out my name. I saw smoke and fireworks shooting towards the sky. As I bear crawl towards my teammates the city of brother hood love on their feet waiting to welcome me. We started to sing…

Fly Eagles fly,

On the road to victory.

Fight Eagles fight,

Score a touchdown 1, 2, 3.

Hit'em low, hit'em high,

And watch our Eagles fly.

Fly Eagles fly,

On the road to victory.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES

Dawkins has the best job in the world. He gets to hit somebody as hard as he wants without getting in trouble. He gets to travel around the country and do what he loves. In my eyes he is the luckiest guy in the world. There is a famous quote “Football is not a game but a religion, a metaphysical island of fundamental truth in a highly verbalized, disguised society, a throwback of 30,000 generations of anthropological time” (By, Arnold Mandell). That would be what I thought if I was in his spot. I have another quote about football by Samir Gul “A man without football is a bird without wings, a lion without courage, and a woman without a heart.” That is why I would love to be Brian Dawkins of the Philadelphia Eagles and live like a Legend. Dawkins was drafted in the second round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. As a rookie in 1996 he started 13 of the 14 games he played in, recording 75 tackles, a sack, and three interceptions. During his Eagles career Dawkins was elected to seven Pro Bowls in 1999, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. In 2002 in a game versus the Houston Texans he became the first player in NFL history to record a sack, an interception, forced fumble, and touchdown reception in a single game. During the 2008 season he became the tenth member of the 20/20 Club and broke the Eagles record for games played surpassing Harold Carmichael who had 180. After the 2008 season Dawkins became a free agent. He finished his career with the Eagles starting 182 of 183 games, recording 898 tackles, 34 interceptions, and 21 sacks. That is why I would love to be Brian Dawkins of the Philadelphia Eagles and live like a Legend.

Humanity is Evil (Extra Credit)

Technology has awoken me again, to the world full of anger. There was a time when people never fought and actually thought that all humanity is one race. But a lot has changed; Humanity has come to point where we are not one. God created human’s as one, but now we have different skin color and race on different sides. The planet earth was created for all living things, but we give our self’s the right to go and kill everything around us.

There are some famous Poems about humanity “It would indeed be a tragedy if the history of the human race proved to be nothing more than the story of an ape playing with a box of matches on a petrol dump.”(David Ormsby Gore) “Humanity is on the march, earth itself is left behind.”(David Ehrenfeld) “Man was created a little lower than the angels, and has been getting lower ever since.” (Josh Billings) “Give a man secure possession of a bleak rock, and he will turn it into a garden; give him nine years' lease of a garden, and he will convert it into a desert.” (Arthur Young) “Nobody knows the age of the human race, but everybody agrees that it is old enough to know better.” If humanity sees themselves in that way then, it must be true.

This makes me think of a poem:
By, Ahmad Gul

The Grass is green

The world is clean

The branch is brown

I fell on the ground

I looked up at the sky

The sky is blue

I found a clue

That this world is not for me and you

Can't Be Trusted (Based on a True Story)

Somebody that lives in your house that you love dearly turns out to be a very bad person. There are times when people make mistakes. But loving somebody that betrays you is very different. Everybody makes mistake in life, but when your own family member does that, it is just wrong. Somebody had once said that one man's trash is another man’s treasure well my wife is somebody else’s treasure. This is a Betrayal story of Prem Gul in Herat, Afghanistan.

After a hard day at work, Prem comes home to be welcomed by his wife. He walks in very happy and is really enthusiastic to see his wife Kajol Gul. He takes a glance around the living room and can’t seem to find his wife. So, he starts calling out “Kajol, Kajol,” but nobody answers. He gets frightened and looks harder, but can’t find her. Then, all of a sudden he hears a phone call “treeeeing, treeeeing.” He rushed to the phone and said “Bale” (Which means hello in Farsi). It was very quiet at the beginning, but then he started to hear his wife shout and cry. His wife had been kidnapped by the Taliban and they wanted him to go and kidnap the president’s daughter. He had no choice, but to say yes and try to save his wife’s life, that he loves very dearly.

Now Prem is on a mission to be a hero and save his wife from the filthy Taliban. He rushes to his room to design a plan so he can steal the president’s daughter. He starts to think to himself what if I earn her trust and pretend to marry her and take her away. He goes to the capital Kabul, Afghanistan. There he sees her and tries to find ways to make her fall in love with him. While the attempt of something that is almost impossible to do, he gets another call. It’s from the Taliban and they warn him to not do anything stupid and that he only had another week. That put even more pressure on him now. That president’s daughter was already starting to fall in love with him, but her parents didn’t approve. The time was coming near for Prem to tell Neha (The president’s daughter) that it is time they ran away and got married somewhere far, far away.

She agreed to escape from her house with him. The next morning they had it all planned and where ready to escape. They drove until this lake, but they were too late the guards were chasing them. They got off the car and got on a boat, then from a boat to a train. They arrived at Herat. It was time to tell Neha the truth. He played with her heart it wasn’t the right thing to do. She loved him way too much and agreed that for her love she will go with him. She felt betrayed, but at the same time she was willing to do anything to save his wife and to see him happy. He promised her that he will save her from the Taliban too. After all the time he had spent with her, he was starting to feel a little something. He cared about his wife a lot, but at the same time he didn’t want to hurt Neha anymore. BEING betrayed by someone you love is exactly how Neha felt, but that wasn’t it, he had to turn her into the Taliban.

The day came when they both walked side by side and the Taliban where waiting one hundred feet away. There were a lot of them. The whole world came at a stop. Prem shouted “Kajol kuja ast” (Where is Kajol at). Then, it started to get windy and a helicopter came thundering down. The head of the Taliban replied “da mabien a helecoptar ast” (She is in the helicopter). Then, that same guy shouted to go and get Neha. Kajol came out of the Helicopter and started to walk his way and Neha the other way. But Prem had promised to save Neha so he grabbed his wife and Neha. Then, started to run away, but his wife didn’t run. She took a gun out and pointed it at him. He was surprised and said “tu chee mekuni” (what are you doing), she pulled the girl away and shot him twice and replied “man tu ra ech wakht khwsh na dashtum, man as khatera brodaram kul y az y ra kadum”, (I have never liked you, all I did this is for my brother). He was starting to breathe harder and harder and just blacked out. Neha was cring and telling Kajol to let go, but she wouldn’t listen. He went into a dream. All he had was now gone. The wife that he sacrificed so much for betrayed him. Not only had done that, but shot him. He did the same thing with Neha, but this was much different. He died the worst way possible. He lost the love of his life. I bet if he didn't die, he wouldn't trust another girl agian. Nobody can be trusted because the time will come that you will see the real picture.

New episode of Family Guy

There is a time when characters leave, but then they come back. In this episode there is Peter Griffin who lives in Quahog, Rhode Island with his wife (Lois), dog (Brian), and three kids (Chris, Meg, and Stewie). He's a product safety inspector at the Happy-Go-Lucky Toy Company, but has dreams of being much more. Then, there is Peter's Friends Cleveland Brown, Glenn Quagmire, and Joe Swanson. They are the main characters of the show.

Let’s get to know the characters. Peter is an "average," not particularly competent American father, Peter is a selfish, irresponsible, obese and is a heavy drinker. His IQ falls near the borderline of mental retardation. He is married to Lois an average housewife/mother. She is a stay-at-home mother that juggles her piano lessons, kids, and husband all in one day, while she dodges her matricidal infant Stewie. Together they have three kids. The oldest one is Meg, the first child and only daughter, is a self-conscious and unattractive teenage girl. The other family members treat her as an object of abuse. Chris, the second child, is fat, blond, emotionally effusive, and afraid of the evil monkey that lives in his closet. Stewie is the baby, but often behaves in adult ways such as upper-class speech (though he is only fully understood by Brian and Chris). He talks in posh vocabulary, carries weapons, and invents new technology. He hates his mother and tries killing her many times. Then, there is Peter’s next-door neighbor and his friend, who Peter met in the Navy. He is best known for his sexual deviancies, and secretly having a foot fetish. He exhibits a vocal tic, the sound "giggity" once or numerous times in rapid succession, particularly when aroused. On several occasions, it is shown that he is attached to Peter's wife, Lois. Cleveland is Peter Griffin's mild-mannered African American friend. Finally, there is his handicap friend Joe who has severe anger issues.

This new episode will take place in Quahog, Rhode Island. Stewie is inventing a weapon that can destroy Lois forever. While Peter is up to his usual insanity. So at the beginning its Stewie’s second birthday and it is a snowy day outside. They have invited all Peter’s friends and Lois’s parents. Everybody is having a good time until Quagmire starts looking at Lois. She tells Peter to do something, but he doesn’t bother. Cleveland has been gone from the show, but he returns for Stewie’s birthday. Since Family Guy has a lot of musical songs peter goes to Quagmire and asks him “did you know about the bird” and starts singing the bird is the word song. While all this is going on Chris has gotten bitten by a spider and now has powers.

Stewie’s invention is finally finished and he created a remote that can control time. He tests it out and pushes pause. All of a sudden the whole world stopped around him. That was the perfect way to kill Lois. He started to play around like when Brian was about to sit down, Stewie paused it and moved the chair, and then pushed play and Brain had a nice fall feeling confused. Then, stewie noticed Meg fall and was surprised of how that was possible. While this was going on with Stewie Peter brought a buff pig for stewie’s birthday. There was too much going on that nobody really noticed Cleveland that had been gone for so long.

Peter finds out about Chris’s Spider Man power and tells him “With great powers, come great responsibilities”. He uses his powers for good. Stewie’s plan for finally killing his mom comes to an end because now he faces a greater challenge of figuring, who has the other remote. To find out what happens with Chris’s powers and who is the other person with the remote...

Bravery

There are many brave people in this world, but I think everybody has a different meaning for that word. I think people do brave things every day of their lives. There is a famous quote “Bravery is the capacity to perform properly even when scared half to death (Omar N. Bradley, 1893).” That is what I believe that bravery is. Like the many soldiers that go to war, they know that they have the chances of dying, but they still put their lives on the line for their country.

Going in front of the class to present a project takes bravery and courage, but not to where you are putting your life on the line for your country. Since I was a little boy I have dreamed of becoming a doctor (General Surgeon). To see another human being die in front of you and you couldn’t do anything about it is hard. Hearing a report that a person has gotten in a fatal crash and now it is in your hand to save his/her life is bravery.

I have spent most of my life in the United States and haven’t had a day without racism. There is a quote “I have visited some places where the differences between black and white are not as profound as they used to be, but I think there is a new form of racism growing in Europe and that is focused on people who are Middle Eastern. I see it (Montel Williams, 1956).” The thing that I did that was the bravest thing in my life is, stand up to racism. At first I believed them and was starting to not be proud of where I’m from, but I stood up to what I believe in. It takes a lot of courage and bravery to stand up to most of the people in your school.

It was around October, and people were adjusting to school. I can still remember walking from the bus to the school building. The suddenly I just hear some person go “Ale le le le le le le le le le.” I turned around and didn’t say anything, and tried to be brave and just take it like a man. So I kept on walking. Later on that day some kids where wearing robes on their head to try to act like me while saying “Ale le le le le le le le le le le.” That is what I think takes a lot of courage because I could have gone and hit them, but all that would have done is get me in trouble. Or I remember the time when people would be calling me Iraqi or terrorist. So you just have to be brave and let them know that you are not getting hurt and they will stop.

There are many ways to be brave, but as long as you believe that you are. Some brave things might not be as important as others, but bravery is bravery. Whether it is a doctor saving somebody else’s life or a soldier risking his/her life, or me fighting racism. As long as we have brave people in this world we have a chance of surviving another day. People are always going to face challenges in their lives, but as long as they are brave and they have courage, they will be fine. You need to be brave to fight the greatest fears in life or the greatest obstacles. The fear of people being racist to me is now gone. I don’t really care of what people think, as long as I believe in myself and am brave.

Travel to the Cavemen Age

The river flows as the sun brings another day to earth. It might be the greatest day of your life or the worst. Sometimes mother earth makes me think if this world can give so much, then why at the same time it can take it all back. I wish a can go back to the cavemen time. I bet their life was much easier than ours they could have done whatever they wanted to. Not pay for water, live anywhere they want, and a life without any war.

As humanity gains knowledge they are supposed to get smarter and make smart decisions. People are smarter, but I wonder when we are going to gain the knowledge that war is a bad thing. I want to ask the cavemen "How did they not have wars?" If knowledge is going to make this world a bad place to be, then I don't want knowledge.

I wonder what the cavemen did every single day. What the cavemen ate? How did they find that food? The most important question I have is how did they deal with the dinosaurs? I want to be able to see the dinosaur’s right in front of me. Feel how these wonderful creatures walked the earth. Smell the fresh air that is now polluted. So why did mother earth cause all the dinosaurs to die out, but not humanity? Is it because we are the chosen ones.

Imagine a day without politics, bills, and school. A place where the water is clean and you don’t have to pay for it. Sitting by the riverbank and fishing. Going anywhere you want without anybody telling you anything, traveling around the world without a passport. Well wouldn’t that be something great. Having enough knowledge to live a great live, but not too much to where you destroy everything there is. Yes there might not be technology, but at least there would have been hope to live a great life just in fear of dinosaurs, not of other humans.

That is why I would love to go back to the cavemen days and live a great life. Not have any fear of war or bloodshed. We are missing out on a lot of things. We might have found cures for cancer and many other things to expand the human life, but we have also destroyed and taken many lives. Some of the knowledge that we have gained has helped us a lot, but most of it has turned into a big nightmare. In those days nobody cared about a person’s color or race because that would be stupid. So if we have all these powers to make this world a better place, then why do we have to fight? Knowledge is a great thing, but right now it is not helping us very much. Mother earth will always do what it wants and when it wants, we just have to work together and not let what happened to the dinosaurs happen to us.

War (Story of my Mom)

Generations have gone and there has been a lot of history made. Imagine a perfect day turning to the worst nightmare in a person’s life. Well that is the story of Afghanistan and my mom.” A great war leaves the country with three armies - an army of cripples, an army of mourners, and an army of thieves”, by German Proverb helps me explain the pain of a mother in Afghanistan.

The war has started and taken many lives and destroyed many houses. The country known as Afghanistan getting destroyed by the Taliban’s right in front of my mom. There is no way for her newborn to survive all the noises like bombs rocket at midnight. That newborn was my sister Sadaf. She had to get away from all of that and had nobody to help her, but her sons because her husband dying at a young age.

Well the way that poem goes a war leaves an army of thieves. That is what exactly that was going to be next. It was a regular war day and it was about to be dark. There was a red sky because of the sunset. My elder brother whom where in about their forties at the time were at work and on their way home. Suddenly, with a roaring noise we heard a gun which sounded like it was very close. I was too young to understand it, but my mom witnessed a group of men rushing towards our house. They were those robbers that a brutal war dragged to Afghanistan. We all were in a room and all of us had to hide because they would have killed us. But they took what they wanted and everybody was safe. After that my mom couldn’t live in Afghanistan because of too much fear.

In a place where women do not have any power at all she took her kids to a better place in Pakistan. She took us from a place that there was a lot of bloodshed to a place where there was no humanity they were all like pigs. People over there could have done anything and if rich, nothing would happen to them as long as they paid the cops a little. Money started to become a problem and it wasn’t any better there. The education wasn’t any better. Now she had to feed her kids in place where she didn’t even know the language.

As a perfect place turns into a person’s nightmare it can also turn back. Well that day came when she went and applied to go to the United States so she can get freedom and peace from the entire thing going on in those hell wholes. Something magical happened that day and she got approved to come to the United States of America. Most moms’ dreams are that their kids would grow up with a good education and live great lives full of happiness. Hers was the same and that nightmare was turning into something beautiful.

People may think that now all of her problems were over, but it never ends. She Again faced challenges of learning the language. She got cancer and had to go to Seattle to get cured and she did. Now she can’t work because she is disabled and the welfare isn’t treating her very well. But now at least she doesn’t have to worry about her kid’s safety. Now at last she can do whatever she wants without fearing that she is a girl. This was how a nightmare turned to something beautiful. Generations of war has gone we need to make this a better place just as the Americans did with my mom.

Starfish / Making A Difference

There is a famous quote “If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one” by Mother Teresa. That one person that you have the chance to feed will make a lot of difference to them. Maybe you might not have saved the whole world from hunger, but that one person that you did can sleep peacefully.

There was a war going on in Afghanistan and my family and I were brought to America for safety. Yes it might not have saved Afghanistan and its people, but they did save us. They did make a big difference in our lives. What if they didn’t save us thinking that there are too many people to save than who know what could have happened to us. So I thank them every day for making a difference in my families’ lives.

There is this thing called working together, imagine if one person threw a starfish into the sea. Now imagine if all the people in this world threw just one starfish into the sea, now that would make a big difference.

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something, is how I describe working together to make this world a better place.

I have met many people that think that they can’t make a difference when they can. An earthquake hit Haiti about a month ago and destroyed many homes. That was the time to reach out and help as much as you can.

So I hope to never hear anybody ever say they can’t make a difference because if anybody donated to the people in Haiti, trust me they made a difference.

Global Warming Pollution / Act Now

We need to protect earth. It is our planet and we need to fight for it, and not just let everything die or cause harm to our planet. We have opportunity to cap America's global warming pollution and put people back to work building America's green energy future. Obama Meets with Key Senators in Push for Climate Bill and I know we should support the president and want a better place for everybody to live in. There has been many movies made on this problem. One of my favorites is the movie "2012" it really goes deep in the meaning of how the world might end if we keep up all the damage. This planet is ours so lets work together and let our kids and our kids, kids enjoy what we have. It is a great place so lets keep it that way and let mother earth do its thing.

The Great Debaters/ Opinion

I liked this movie because most movies entertain people and that is it, but this movie just didn’t do that it gave me history of the racism back in the days. This movie lets people know that if there is something bad going on don’t just stand and watch, do something about it. This movie proved a point in an entertaining way not a boring way. I really like the camera work like one their first debate when James is filming Henry it shows the picture black and white to make you notice that in 1935, they didn’t have colored pictures. So why is this movie so great? Well because it puts a little humor in something that wasn’t at all humorous. To really understand the history of racism in America there is no movie better than this one I recommend everybody to watch it.

Slavery at its Worst/ Painting by Diego Rivera

A famous quote by Robert Ingersoll “Give to every human being every right that you claim for yourself”, is how I feel about this painting. Why should man fight with each other because of each other’s race or color. I see men being hanged, forced to work in the fields, hungry, and being stabbed. Who do the white people think they are just going and taking the Native American land? I see sorrow in the families’ eye, that is just about to see her son, dad, or cousin get stabbed to death or be hanged. What did they do to earn that, is it because they are dark, or because they are just trying to fight for their land. Humans are a mistake made by god, they have many gifts that they don’t know about, but shed blood amongst each other. Have you ever seen a white dog attack a black dog? Well, I haven’t. Human stupidity is going to end this world.

The New Colossus/ Statue of Liberty

The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
By Emma Lazarus, 1883
This poem is about how America welcomes everybody and helps. The author writes that the liberty cries in silence "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!" But all that just does not seem real to me because there are many homeless people that nobody cares about. Yes it is a land of many races, but is everybody really equal. No, I don't think so because many people judge another by color not by talent. This poem is trying to help many people be equal when it doesn't have the power to do that.
The Statue of Liberty symbolizes freedom throughout the world. Its formal name is Liberty Enlightening the World. The Statue was actually a gift from the people of France. The statue, made of copper sheets with an iron framework, depicts a woman escaping the chains of tyranny, which lie at her feet. Her right hand holds aloft a burning torch that represents liberty. Her left hand holds a tablet inscribed with the date "July 4, 1776" (in Roman numerals), the day the United States declared its independence from England. She is wearing flowing robes and the seven rays of her spiked crown symbolize the seven seas and continents. Near the Statue of Liberty in New York Harbor is Ellis Island. This island served as an immigrant station and a temporary shelter for people coming to the U.S. from other countries. Between 1892 and 1954, approximately 12 million people passed through Ellis Island seeking refuge, freedom and opportunity. The main building on Ellis Island is now a museum dedicated to the history of the Ellis Island Immigration Station.
Immigration is what United states is all about because it is Columbus discovered it but it was already the Native Americans land, so they fought for it and they just toke everything away from the Indians. But it shouldn't get out of control to where everybody just comes in but any body should be allowed as long as they don't damage the country by bringing drugs or diseases. That is how the United States Should do it. The purpose of America is Immigration. Nobody should be able to be better just because of their color. Nobody was born in the United States Of America so why make it theirs. Right now have so many family members in Afghanistan but, why would anybody care I thought this land is for everybody, but some thing is just not true. This land is not just for the white folks that think everything is theirs because they weren't born here either but they have the right to live with their families in peace. We are humans too, everybody needs a family to take care of them, but for that to happen you have to make a big case which takes about five years, and mostly more but they still don't come. This land is every bodies they need to let my family come, but why should they care. At least now that there is a war going on there they should try to save them from dying, but they just don't freaking care.

Blink of an eye

At a blink of an eye people die, a new generation starts.

Sumatran Tigers

A new generation will start and guess what, what if there weren't any more Sumatran Tigers. The wonderful nature that we witnessed why not let our kids see them. Doesn't everybody wish there were Mammoths still around instead of just hearing stories about them, so lets not let any of that happen to the creatures we have right now. We need to protect them.

Goals in Life

I have a goal in life and that goal is to go to Penn State and then Medical School. That is a goal that I am going to have to work all my life for, but it is not impossible. I see brightness in my future like making something of my self. Being successful in life is another thing I want to achieve more than anybody and do my best to be known around the world. There is say in that life is like a ladder and at that top of that ladder is all your dreams, well that is how i feel about my life. Right now I am probably not even at the first step there is a lot to be learned and a lot to be done.

I Pray

I have spent many days without any snow, but today that changes.
Hoping that the snow would cause school delays or even school closings.
I pray the snow unveil its powers and cause there to be a delay.

Snowy day

A snowy day ends, and now it is the suns turn to shine upon us.
